Worshiping God, celebrating His love for us and sharing the Gospel through music are at the heart
of our Music Ministry. We desire the worship at MorningStar to be uplifting and God-focused.
Members of our music ministries are passionate about worship and share a commitment and faithfulness
to this vibrant ministry.
Members of the Choir understand that they are to be examples to the
congregation as they lead in worship, educate through song, and minister to one another.
Like the Adult Choir, the members of the Praise Band also understand their role in leading
congregational worship. Also like the choir, they look forward to rehearsing, as well as enjoying
genuine fellowship and loving support of one another.
Our children's music teachers understand that music is a powerful tool
to educate our children both musically and spiritually. As children learn to sing
they learn to exalt God, to be more like Him, and to use their talents
and gifts as servants in His kingdom.
We are currently praying for someone to volunteer to lead Children's Choir again.
Till then, the children are enjoying music time at the end of AWANA on Sunday evenings.
We plan to have Children's Choir Camp again this coming summer.
Choir Camp lasts a week, with daily musical practice, arts & crafts, recreation time, and music education.
The Sunday following Choir Camp the children perform their musical.
